Karwar Siesta

Karwar Siesta

“Consistency”, a great quality that marks “the men from the boys”. That’s what you get to see when one visits “Tilmatti beach”. Over the years, the violent sea, has chipped away consistently at the rocks here and the results is a beach full of sesame sized granules of rock which gives the beach its name “Tilmati beach” or “Sesame beach “ is translated.

Though in ruins, “Sadashivgad Fort”, overlooking the seas is a must visit place. The canons here reminds us of the simultaneous past.

visit to the “Warship Museum” is very enriching. One will be amazed after a visit to the aquarium.

The Tagore beach is a place for fun and frolic.

Have you seen a fish fly? On a full moon night, sit on the deck by the river in our resort and enjoy, something that you have never experienced before.

For the romantic, there is a small island where a bonfire and dinner can be arranged.

Excellent location, excellent hospitability. Had booked 2 nghts in cottage....cottages located right on the private property. Though the rooms weere not that great in terms of maintenance and aesthetics...but the locations is excellent....night they serve snacks and dinner along with drinks on the beach front

It was another of my quick trips to refresh, and it was just awesome. Loved the place... sunset is beautiful, however, its the mornings that will take your breath away. Loved the whole concept of keeping it a green destination and the food. I would totally recommend the place for those who enjoy being with themselves.
